Materials
To create this pattern, you will need a Tunisian crochet hook of 2.5 mm, light DK weight yarn.
Pattern of Crochet Entrelac Stitch
1. Start with any # of chains, Insert hook into the first chain from hook, pull up a loop and keep on hook, insert hook in the next chain, pull up a loop and keep on hook, continue this way across until you have 7 loops on your hook.
2. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, continue this way across until the end. [here you have 1 loop on your hook]

3. Insert hook vertically to the next stitch, pull up a loop, keep it on your hook, repeat until you have 6 loops on your hook, insert hook in the 7th chain in step 1, pull up a loop, now you have 7 loops on your hook.
4. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, continue this way across until the end. [here you have 1 loop on your hook]
5. Insert hook vertically to the next stitch, pull up a loop, keep it on your hook, repeat until you have 6 loops on your hook, insert hook in the next chain in step 1, pull up a loop, now you have 7 loops on your hook.

How to finish half block to make the edges straight:
1. Between 2 blocks, insert yarn in the peak of the first block, insert hook in the next stitch, pull up a loop, repeat until you have 7 loops on your hook.
2. Yarn over hook, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, repeat until you have 3 loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through 3 loops.

4. Yarn over hook, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, repeat until you have 3 loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through 3 loops.
Repeat previous 2 steps until you make half block, slip stitch for the last 2 stitches.
