– Make a slip knot, start with multiple numbers of 3 + chain 2, in this tutorial we start with 20 chains.

– Insert the hook into the first chain, pull up a loop, and leave it on the hook. Next, insert the hook into the following chain, pull up another loop, and keep it on the hook as well. Repeat this process across each chain until you reach the end, ensuring all loops remain on the hook. [At this point, you should have 20 loops on your hook.]

– Yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, continue this way across until the end. [here you have 1 loop on your hook]

– Insert the hook into the next vertical loop, yarn over, and pull up a loop, keeping it on the hook. Bring the yarn to the front of the hook, insert the hook from behind into the next two vertical loops, pull the yarn downward, yarn over, and pull through two loops (leaving 3 loops on the hook). Skip the next vertical loop, then insert the hook into the following vertical loop, yarn over, and pull up a loop, keeping it on the hook (you should now have 4 loops on the hook). Repeat the sequence from * to * until you reach the last loop. Insert the hook into the final loop, yarn over, and pull up a loop, keeping it on the hook. [You should now have 20 loops on your hook.]

– Repeat step 3.

Position the yarn in front of the hook, then insert the hook from the back through the next two vertical loops. Pull the yarn downward, yarn over, and draw it through two loops. Skip the next loop, insert the hook into the following vertical loop, pull up a loop, and leave it on the hook. (3 loops now on the hook). Repeat from * to * until there are only two loops remaining. Insert the hook into the next vertical loop, pull up a loop and leave it on the hook, then insert the hook into the final vertical loop, pull up a loop, and leave it on the hook. [At this point, you should have 20 loops on your hook.]

– Repeat step 3.
